Bio
Norberto Andaluz, MD, is the director of Neurotrauma at the University of Cincinnati Neuroscience Institute (UCNI). He completed his residency in Neurosurgery in his hometown of Rosario, Argentina, and received additional fellowship training in Cincinnati for a total of four years. Dr. Andaluz has been a neurosurgeon at UCNI since 2011, and has served as the chief of the Neurosurgery Section at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center since 2008.
Dr. Andaluz is also an associate professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the surgical director of the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He is an academic-based neurosurgeon with a strong passion for clinical and translational research and a focus on the care of head trauma patients.
